Can I discharge student loans after a substancial period of time?
Can I discharge student loans? Can they ever be discharged, especially after a long period of time?

You can discharge student loans after seven years of non payment. If you entered into a payment plan with the lender. And than paid on the loan for awhile. That period doesn't count towards the seven years. Now reread the other attorney's web/site.
