Legal Question in Bankruptcy in California
discharged
i file for bk in 2001, it was discharged in 2002, dut some of the creditors that was filed on are still reporting me to the credits places, what can i do ?

Send a copy of your discharge notice and ask them to correct it. If they don't, notify the credit reporting agencies in writing that the debt(s) was/were discharged in bankruptcy.

Send a letter to the creditors with a copy of the discharge and remind them of the federal penalties for trying to collect debts discharged in a bankruptcy.
