Legal Question in Bankruptcy in California
Effect of Dismissal. Can we re-file Chapter 7 after 180 days?
We recently filed a chapter 7 and we failed to include other expenses to our financial statement. The trustee filed a motion to dismiss the case. If dismissed, can we re-file a chapter 7 after 180 days?

Yes. It depends on what the order dismissing the case says. You may be able to re-file immediately if they didn't put the 180-day bar on re-filing. If it hasn't been dismissed yet, why don't you just amend your schedules to include whatever the Trustee perceives as deficient?
