Re: Can you file Bankruptcy with owning an IRA?
One can file bankruptcy owning an IRA. One may exempt the amount that's reasonable and customary for one's retirement.
All wage garnishments must cease upon filing of bankruptcy. No creditor is permitted to engage in collection activities during its pendency. If you need help with your BK, please let me know. (310) 858-9771. -Robert F. Cohen, Esq.
