Legal Question in Bankruptcy in California

when to file the BK

Currently we have bill collectors calling and two pending lawsuits for credit card. My wife is currently pregnant with triplets and due in Feb of 08. When would be the better time to file, before the birth or after?

If you do not answer the lawsuits and they obtain default judgments against you, they could levy against your wages and bank accounts. The longer you wait, the more likely this could happen.
