yes I filed chapter 7 in Aug. 2000 my debts where discharged Dec.2000 can I file chapter 7 again in Dec.2006

No. The reform laws passed last year make you ineligible for a Chapter 7 discharge until December 2008. You should consult a local bankruptcy attorney because you MAY qualify for a Chapter 13 bankruptcy.
