Legal Question in Bankruptcy in California

Filed for chapter 7 and am awaiting discharge. Are we allowed to leave the state, need to move for job, before the discharge? Our lawyer has said it won't matter since we've had our 341 meeting. Need second opinion.

(I'm in a state other than yours). One tip besides the good answers you already received:

Ask your lawyer what your court's policy is as to attendance at hearings. It is always possible that a last minute motion could come up. Some courts will insist that you come personally to such a hearing. Some may let you attend, in some cases, by phone.
