Filing Chapter 7 Need to know about reafirmation

My hubby is filing, but my father is co-signer on my car. We do not plan to include it in the BK, as it is in good standing and we are filing it as ''exempt''. My husband has to sign a reaffimation. Does my father have to sign too?

When you say "my hubby is filing", do you mean that you are not? If you are not, is your hubby on the loan or not? If the name of any debtor is on the registration of the car, it must be listed as an asset and the debt must be listed as a liability. You do not have to reaffirm any debt, especially if someone not filing BK is also responsible.
