Legal Question in Bankruptcy in California

I filled for chapter 7,no asset last month. I have 2 small judments and one court date next week. dose it matter if I have a judment or pending litigation when I filled for chapter 7 , No asset?

File notice of the bankruptcy in all 3 cases. The discharge will void the judgments and the pending lawsuit should be stopped by the automatic stay.

The notice Mr. Starrett is referring to is a Judicial Council form entitled "Notice of Stay of Proceedings." You would attach to it the notice of commencement of BK case from the BK court.
