Filling bunkruptcy
my dad is thinking of filling bankruptcy, he is the cosigner for my car and his own car, Im the main person on the loan, will my credit score get affected or will it show on my record?

Your credit report may show that your co-signer filed bankruptcy. Will it affect your credit score? Got me on this one. Credit reporting companies are extremely secretive on how credit scores are calculated. I know of nowhere that this information can be obtained. Also, it is possible the finance company could claim that the filing of a bankruptcy constitutes a breach of the contract, and that therefore it has a right to repossess the vehicle. In order to avoid this, you dad may have to reaffirm the debt owed on your car.
