Legal Question in Bankruptcy in California

Garnishment

When I received a wage garnishment I filed a claim of exemption with the levying officer(LA Sheriffs) . My exemption was not opposed and I received a notice of termination and a refund of all the monies collected. 3 months later I receive another wage garnishment with the same case number from the same collector but at a different LA Sheriff's office location. Can the collector continue to submit the same judgment case over and over again to different sheriff's department? What are my rights?
