my ex husband is court ordered to pay me 40,000 January 1 he just filed bankruptcy am i going to get paid or am i just not getting any money

If the obligation was part of your divorce decree, it is a non-dischargeable debt ... he will still owe it to you. Whether you're going to get paid is another issue.
