Re: which one?
Most people prefer Chapter 7, where they can wipe out their debt. Feel free to give me a call at (310) 858-9771 during the week for a free consultation. Remember, the law changes on Oct. 17, and will make it more difficult for the average person to file for bankruptcy protection.
Re: which one?
It depends on a lot of other factors that just how much debt you have, including the type of assets you own and your income, marital status, etc. The decision should be made after consultation with a qualified bankrutpcy attorney.
Re: which one?
More information is needed to determine if you should file chapter 7 or chapter 13. For example, whether or not you are employed, your marital status, the amount and type of debt owed, the nature and value of your assets, and additional variables are all deciding factors for your individual situation.
