Re: Judgment elimination by bankruptcy

If the accident occurred as a result of negligence as opposed to your intoxication from alcohol or drugs, and was not intentional, you more than likely can discharge the debt in a Chapter 7 bankruptcy. However, whether you qualify depends on your financial circumstances which you should review by formally consulting with an attorney. Please give me a call at (310) 858-9771 if you wish to discuss this further.

The debt would likely be dischargeable unless it was a result of driving while intoxicated by alcohol or drugs. You should review all the facts with an attorney before filing, though, to ensure you qualify and are not putting any assets at risk.
