Legal Question in Bankruptcy in California
Judgement against relative, joint assets
My brother has a civil judgement against him and potentially more than 1 judgement. My father has an automobile which is registered to him, along with my brother. My father paid for the car himself. Can the creditor go after this asset?

It depends on many things, but generally, yes. If your brother is interested in discussing his options (bankruptcy or otherwise resolving debt matters), please let him know he should feel free to call me directly.
