Legal Question in Bankruptcy in California
I have a judgment against an LLC. If LLC files Chapter 7, my judgment will be only partially satisfied by their assets. (1) is it correct that there will be no further claim? (2) Can the principals of LLC start a similar business soon after the filing of Chapter 7 and their assets are liquidated?

The answers to your questions really depends on the basis for the judgment you received. Also, LLC's do not receive a discharge from the debts. Did you sue the principals as well and obtain a judgment against them?
