Legal Question in Bankruptcy in California
I have a labor law case against my employer but my employer filed for bankrupcy and the case is about to close. I want to know what claims I still have (if any) and how to preserve said claims against my employer.

When you say that the case is about to close, do you mean he is about to obtain a discharge? If so, you may have waited to long to assert your rights, if any, in his case. There is a lot of information, including a review of the employer's bankruptcy case file, that would be necessary to provide you with an opinion as to what is going to happen, or what rights you may have. That being said, you should have started investigating this as soon as he filed for bankruptcy. You need to retain a bankruptcy attorney very quickly, unless the size of your claim is cost-prohibitive to seek legal guidance with the bankruptcy aspects of his case.
