Legal Question in Bankruptcy in California
My old Landlord filed bankruptcy to include my deposit and pet deposit for the house. ($1600 deposit and $500 pet deposit. They filed on 3/21/11, with a crediters meeting on 4/26/11. I am in the military and was out of town for training so I couldn't go to the crediters meeting. I would like to know if I can get my money back and if it is worth the fight.
