Legal Question in Bankruptcy in California
Im in a lawsuit where I am being asked to answer some interrogatories from the plaintiff's attorney. I got this request on March 19th. I have 30 days to respond. Five days later I got some papers in the mail stating that the plaintiff's attorney is asking the court to relieve him from his duty as the plaintiff's attorney for lack of payment and response from his client. He stated that its been since November12th, that he has spoken or received payment from his client. Should I still answer the questions? How soon or can I ask the court to drop the lawsuit?

Contact the attorney to see if he will "withdraw" the discovery requests.
