Legal Question in Bankruptcy in California
Leins
We filed for bankruptcy in 1997. We are in escrow and have just found out that some of the leins were not removed. We are now in limbo and can not continue with escrow. We are going to lose this sale. Can you help?
Thanks

Re: Leins
You either need to pay off the liens, or reopen your bankruptcy case and file a motion to avoid the liens (assuming that they are avoidable). You need to consult with a bankruptcy attorney in the area where your case was filed.
