Legal Question in Bankruptcy in California
loan on property
My brother owes me a large sum of money. We are co owners of a house. He has signed a lien over to me for the money, however, he is going to file bankrupes, will I still be ok or will the court force a sale on the house.

Before he files bankruptcy he consult with an attorney about conveying that asset to you.
