How long will this effect my credit
If I file bankruptsy, how will long will it effect my credit and to what extent?
Some of my debt is related to attorney fees. Will this debt be relieved through a bankruptsy claim?

A bankruptcy will stay on your credit record for 10 years, although you should be able to re-establish your credit well before then. Yes, unsecured fees owed to a lawyer are dischargeable in bankruptcy (subject to certain exceptions).
