Marriage and Chapter 13 Bankruptcy
I am currently in a Chapter 13 bankruptcy and have 20 more months left before I complete it. I am getting married in October of this year (2008). What consequences could come of this to my future husband?

Your future husband is not liable for your debts. However, his contribution of income to your situation might be something that the court can consider if the Chapter 13 trustee brings a motion to increase your plan payments. His credit rating should not be impacted.
