Legal Question in Bankruptcy in California

due to a dumb move on my part I find myself
in an ever increasing debt spiral.
debt amount increases by 50 percent each month.
am on a disability pension and cant afford lawyer's fees.
for a bankruptcy.
any ideas how to escape this mess?

You never know what you can "afford." Sometimes I find a reason to turn around and sue the debt collector. Depending on the circumstances I have been known to charge clients very, very low upfront fees. No promises, but I can sometimes do this because sometimes I can beat them and collect enough in court-awarded attorney fees to make the case profitable.
If all you have is a disability pension, they probably won't be able to get at it, so maybe bankruptcy isn't the right solution for you. Or maybe it is. Please condense ALL the facts into a long email and send to me. By "all the facts" I mean the name of the creditors/plaintiffs, the case number, how much you are being sued for, what if any assets you have at risk, everything.
