Legal Question in Bankruptcy in California
Non-Disclosure of Assets
Is it a violation of California Bankruptcy Laws if someone purposly does not claim rental property owned in another country when they file for bankruptcy? And if so are there any statute of limitations on this? And who should be contacted to report this deliberate fraudulent action?

Re: Non-Disclosure of Assets
It is a violation of federal law. They can go to jail and the entire property can be taken and given to satisfy creditors. Report it to the trustee.
