Legal Question in Bankruptcy in California
what is a notice of motion and motion for release of stay? Do I still pay taxes and insurance on my house even though I am in bankruptcy and now my house note has icreased and I can't afford to pay the note. I don't make as much as I use to make.

I would ask the lawyer who is handling your bankruptcy case.

A motion for relief from stay is usually brought by a secured creditor (home or car lender), when the debtor has not paid for a while. If relief is granted, then the creditor can proceed to foreclose or repossess.
