How do I get my paid time off earned if my company files chapter 7 bankruptcy

1. Many, many bankruptcy attorneys give free consultations - call one (or more)
2. You should look into filing a "Proof of Claim." That is how the trustee knows who to pay if there is any money available. You will likely not get paid at all if he doesn't tell them, and if you don't file a proof of claim or otherwise let the court know you are owed money
3. The bankruptcy court website will likely have information for creditors (you, in this situation). If you're in the Central District of CA, the website is http://www.cacb.uscourts.gov
4. There are rules re: who gets paid first. Call a lawyer
5. A labor/employment attorney may also provide guidance.
