Legal Question in Bankruptcy in California
What papers do I need to file for Bankruptcy
I am trying to file for bankruptcy and I would like to know what papers I need to file. How to file. What should you do if you have unsecure loans or debts, cars, property, jewelry, furniture
and all other assets.

Re: What papers do I need to file for Bankruptcy
You can obtain a "how to" bankruptcy filing package from most bookstores. I believe it is put out by the "Nolo Press" company. The real answer to your questions, however, is to hire an attorney in your behalf. Should you be interested, please visit my website at http://www.bklaw.com/bklaw and give me a call. I will be out of town until October 1.

The court clerk will give you a list of forms and sell you the forms cheap. The Nolo books are pretty good. If you want an attorney and think you cant afford one I would be happy to work someting out for you. However, if you want to try and do it yourself, i would start with the Nolo books. www.nolo.com

Most major book stores offer up to date publications that can take you step by step on how to file your case. Of course, it never hurts to consult with an experienced bankruptcy lawyer for a free consultation. We offer phone consultation.
Lastly, check out our web site http://www.slateleoni.com and visit the BK Education section, where you can even purchase how to file bankruptcy books (in association with Amazon.com).
