Legal Question in Bankruptcy in California
pink slip on auto
My husband and I are going to file Bankruptcy due to medical and over extented credit. I hold the pink slip to two automobiles. One a 1990 Camry that we paid $4100 and a 1993 Camry that we paid $8500. Can these be taken away from us? Should I put them in someone elses name?

Re: pink slip on auto
Whether you would lose your cars or not depends on what equity you have in each and what exemptions you have available considering all your other assets. You should not put them in someone else's name. If you would like a free consultation towards filing bankruptcy, visit my web page at http://www.bklaw.com/ for information and then give me a call.
