Legal Question in Bankruptcy in California

Production of documents for inspection and copying

I am in a C7 bankruptcy adversary proceeding representing myself. I was just served a Production of documents for inspection and copying notice from the Plaintiff.

I know I need to respond, and provide documents for inspection and copying. In a separate letter they are telling me I need to make them copies. My understanding is that they have to make their own copies of whatever they want. How long can they keep my documents to make the copies? I don't trust them at all and I am not going to spend the money to make them copies. They are asking for a truck load of documents

Re: Production of documents for inspection and copying

Bring them to the office on the date and time specified, and wait until they copy the documents and return them. Alternatively, have someone else do it for you.
