Reaffirmation of a Debt

I am filing Chap. 7. I still own on my car and am current in payments. Will the finance company let me keep my car if i don't sign or file an 'affirmation of debt' notice?

Usually they will. Write in the appropriate box on the statement of intentions "Debtor will remain current." However, creditors might get a little dicey if you need to ask for a forebearance on a payment if you don't reaffirm.
