Renting
Can you still get relief from rent for I believe it was 8 moinths when you file bankrupsy and how.Please dont answer ask a lawyer. I am.Thank You

Past due rent is just a regular unsecured debt and is dischargeable in a bankruptcy case unless there is fraud, intentional and malicious damage, etc. I'm not sure if that answers your question as I'm not sure what you mean by "relief" from rent. Also, obviously you won't be able to remain in possession of the rental premises if you do not pay.
