Legal Question in Bankruptcy in California
After retaining a bankruptcy lawyer and informing all the companies that I owed money to, my bank was still garnished for an unsecured personal loan. Is this legal?

Yes.... only after you actually file the bankruptcy case it becomes illegal to collect from you. Therefore, get your case filed ASAP.
