Settlement $$ Issue
What if I settle in a lawsuit for $50,000 and cant afford to pay it off...even if in payments?

It really depends on what the suit was about. If it relates to straight contractual issues or intentional torts, for example. Furthermore now you have to qualify to file bankruptcy, so further analysis and more information is needed. Feel free to contact me further.
