Legal Question in Bankruptcy in California
Social Security Debt Dischargeable?
Due to a percieved overpayment by ssi, they are requesting a large amount that I can't afford to pay. Is this dischargeable under a chapter 7?

Yes, SSI overpayments may be discharged in a Chapter 7 proceeding.
