Legal Question in Bankruptcy in California

hi i was really stupid i put a vehicle in my name for my daughter she stopped paying on it and she seems to think she ca file a mechanics lein on it well she should have just made the payments mind you it is in my name she did not insyre it so now the dmv sent me a letter saying it was not registered wow what was i thinking well it gets better she pulls up to a gas station guess who pulls in behind her the repo man they told her since you have 5 kids in the car we will let you drive it home we will follow you and then take it what does she do she out runs them and gets away they told her they put a tracking device on it if they did she got to far out of there range my question is what am i going to do and because this car is in my name will the law go after me help
