Legal Question in Bankruptcy in California
Traffic Fines and bankruptcy
Dear Sirs:
I recently had my chapter seven cases discharged (CA no asset case)
Two days ago I found a traffic violation that I had received about a 19 moth ago I asked the court to make payments but I was only able to make one payment, over a year ago.
The way I understand it because my bankruptcy was a CA no asset case all creditors/debts are wiped out even if I forgot to include this ticket in my schedule??
What should I no do to wipe out this debt?
Thank you

Re: Traffic Fines and bankruptcy
Pay it or file a Ch. 13 case. Debts owed to governmental entities are not dischargeable in Ch. 7 cases (which is what I presume you filed).
