Legal Question in Bankruptcy in California
Turning Down An Attorney
How do I say politely that I do not want an attorney who was selected by my former attorney who was unsuccessful in my case. I did some attorney shopping and found someone who better suits me and my style. How do I gently, politely tell him that I no longer am considering him?

Just tell the potential attorney that you've located someone else with whom you wish to work. Leave it at that. If the attorney has your file, make sure to request it and set a reasonable deadline to obtain it.
