Wedding Bands and Not Married

Will I have to give up my wedding rings if I am engaged and I file Chapter 7 before I get married?

That depends on the value of the wedding rings and the value of all of your other assets.

Chances are you could keep your personal jewelry as there are exemptions available (of up to either $1150 or $5000) for items such as this.
