Legal Question in Bankruptcy in California

My wife needs to file bankrupcy too?

I plan to file bankrupcy due to enormous credit cards debt. Since i file bankrupcy, does my wife should file too? Will the credit cards company goes after my wife for my unpaid credit cards debt balances?

If your wife was not a CO-DEBTOR CREDIT CARD WILL NOT GO AFTER HER. In chapter 7, spouse if not a co-debtor does not come into the picture.
