Legal Question in Bankruptcy in California

Will filing for Bankruptcy solve my problem?

To make a long story short, i am paying on a 15k car for 4 more years but do not have the car or even have my name on the title. after being in an accident, i notified my insurance and when they went to see the car they found it had been auctioned already without even one signature from me. needless to say, wachovia and my insurance dont care and say i still have to pay. i cant continue to pay for a car i do not drive or even afford to buy a car because of this. i dont have money for an attorney and dont know what to do. a friend told me bankruptcy is the best option to get this behind me and move on. any advice? there are many more details if needed.

It may well be an option for sovling your problem, but is certainly not the only solution. I suggest you meet with a bankruptcy attorney to review your options. Most bankruptcy attorneys will give you free initial consultation.
