Legal Question in Bankruptcy in California

I am wondering if I should file for Bankruptcy before or after I complete my divorce.

If both of you need to file for bankruptcy protection, you could save money if you were to file jointly while you were still married. Other than that, there would be no difference if you file before or after your divorce is completed.
