Legal Question in Business Law in California
Alternative Workweek Vacation Wages
we work 12 shifts and get paid 1.5x over 8 hours. but when we take a vacation day we get paid 12 hours regular pay, no OT. is this legal? shouldnt we get paid overtime for a vacation day if that is our regular wage? and what about only charging employees 8 hours for vacation instead of 12 per day taken.

Fair labor standards act? Anyway, usually they only owe you overtime for over 40 a week.
