Anti-competitive marketing ?

We are offering a church $25 for each new retail customer that signs with our gas company. However, because we sell wholesale to a smaller gas company, X, we want to avoid taking X's retail customers. Therefore, is it legal if we tell the church that we will not pay $25 for X's customers? Thank you very

this is one of the most screwed up questions i have ever read --- what are you talking about and what is the legal question -- you are asking something between a business based question and for business advice as well as advice for not doing something that can apper to be illegal, criminal in its basis -- so the answere is get a real attorney and ask him/her
