Legal Question in Business Law in California
auto contract
A car lot has ads that state you can use your income tax return papers as a down payment until it actually comes in. I went there and showed them my papers, they allowed me to take the auto off the lot with the promise that I would then bring the money to them when it actually comes in. It hasn't came in yet, it has been about 2 weeks and they don't want to wait any longer, they want the money or the car Now! They don't care where we get it. Do I have to give the car back?
