Legal Question in Business Law in California
Currently I have a bakery business in Rosemead, CA. It is located inside a small shopping center anchor by a supermarket. Our normal business hours are from 9am - 8:30pm. And on the lease contract we are allow to conduct our business between 8am - 10pm everyday.
However, on Monday, 11/25 we receive a notice from our landlord that the shopping center will close at 5pm on Thanksgiving and they've ask everyone to close by 5pm.
My question is that, can the landlord force us to close early? Isn't that breach of contract by the landlord? What action can I take to secure my rights?

No, they can't force you to close early unless there are serious reasons to do so. I am talking emergencies.
