Legal Question in Business Law in California

I have a Board of Behavioral Sciences Question. I am currently in a counseling psychology masters program to become an Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California. About 4 years ago I got a misdemeanor vandalism charge because I hit a car with an ashtray, it was my previous wife's car. I complied with the terms of my plea bargain, paid all fines, took the year long batterers intervention course, (even though I didn't physically touch her) this was a required term of the plea bargain. Subsequently, I got my charge expunged and early termination of summary probation was granted. On the BBS licensing application it says I need to expose all convictions even if they were expunged. I plan on doing this and providing supporting documentation of my compliance. Will this type of charge present a problem when I try to gain licensure as a MFT with the Board of Behavioral Sciences?

This is a question for the Board of Behavioral Sciences. There is no automatic legal prohibition on you being licensed, beyond that it is a matter of BBS regulations and policies.
