Legal Question in Business Law in California
my bosses are taking $50 dollars out of my paychecks saying that it is a payed loan, because i was demoted 3 months ago and they forgot to change my wage from $8.75 to my optional $8.00 is this legal? i did an estimate and it equals up to about $176.00

Depends upon whether you were notified of the wage change before or at the time it supposedly took effect. You can't have your pay cut without notice or retroactively. However, the employer can correct its mistake if it overpaid you after proper notice of the pay cut. Also, make sure the adjustment is to your gross pay, not your net after taxes and any other deductions.
