Legal Question in Business Law in California
Bought used vehicle in CA 9/2010 from CA dealership. Tried trading in vehicle yesterday to different dealership and after they ran Carfax found out vehicle has frame damage. They're still willing to accept vehicle trade-in but reduced actual value of vehicle considerably. Damage was NEVER disclosed to me when I bought vehicle. New dealer says prior dealer was required to disclose this information. According to Carfax frame damage was disclosed at auction 1 month prior to my buying vehicle. Is this fraud and/or misrepresentation? What recourse do I have if any?

If they knew of the damage and did not notify you, you may have a case for fraud. You should speak to a lawyer.
