Legal Question in Business Law in California
Bringing back a product from the dead
Can a company manufacture and sell a product that was originally designed and built by another company that no longer exists? For example, I would like to build 1950's and 1960's aircraft that are no longer being produced, using either original blueprints or through reverse engineering. The companies that first built them are long gone. Can I do it? Any input is appreciated. Thank You.

Re: Bringing back a product from the dead
you can as long as you get permission to use any intellectual property (patents, trademarks, etc) involved.
